Appellant John Patrick Brink was charged in separate indictments with the offenses of securities fraud and misapplication fiduciary funds. Appellant pled guilty to both offenses without the benefit of a plea bargain agreement. The trial court found appellant guilty and assessed his punishment at confinement in the state penitentiary for 60 years for each offense--the sentences to run concurrently. On appeal, appellant alleges he was denied the right to counsel of his choice, as well as the right to effective assistance of counsel. We affirm.
